Last December there was no need to travel all the way to Germany or Belgium for a special Christmas feeling. Because Amsterdam had for the first time its own Christmas festival called ‘De Amsterdamse Winterparade’. For this special event, the RAI Amsterdam transformed in a true Christmas Walhalla with lots of Christmas trees, thousands of fairy lights, an indoor skating rink of no less than 700 square meters and a 50-meter high giant Ferris wheel. Afraid of heights? You also had the possibility to stroll around the Christmas market, grab a movie in the Christmas cinema and to take some schnapps at the Beer Village. Making it even extra special, you also had the change to sing your heart out at the karaoke bar, to relax in a jacuzzi at the wellness area or to eat a delicious hamburger at the food court! De Amsterdamse Winterparade made sure it was a December to remember!
